Current Vacancies with Limerick Youth Service

Southside Youth Space is a new dedicated youth space located on Galvone Road in the Southside of Limerick City. It caters for young people primarily between the ages of 10 – 21 years. Operating under the auspices of Limerick Youth Service and in conjunction with the Limerick Regeneration Agency, applications are now invited for the following positions:

Senior Office Administrator (35 hours)
Provision of administrative support to the centre manager and various committees.
• 3 years minimum experience in a similar role.
• Excellent organisational, communication and leadership skills.
• Full proficiency in the use of MS office and competency in all aspects of office administration.
Buildings Supervisor x 2 (35 hours)
Assist in the operation and maintenance of the premises in compliance with Health & Safety Standards.
• Minimum of 1 year’s previous experience in a similar supervisory role. Ability to work with young people.
Caretaker/Security Guard (17.5 hours)
Monitoring activities inside and outside the premises as well as general maintenance.
• Minimum of 1 year’s previous experience in a similar role.
Cleaner (17.5 hours)
Duties to include general upkeep of all areas in the centre.
• At least 1 year’s previous experience in a similar role desirable.

The above positions are funded under the Community Services Programme and the Limerick Regeneration Agency.
